Doctor Mackey has been practicing dentistry since 1988 and is a proud third-generation dentist. His grandfather began the practice in 1923 followed by his father joining the practice in 1956. He graduated from the University of Illinois Dental School, as did his father and grandfather.

Continuing education has always been a focus for Doctor Mackey. He has continued his passion for learning by attending countless dental courses over the past 33 years. The knowledge and techniques Dr. Mackey has acquired from his CE courses allow him to offer the highest quality of dental care.

Volunteering his dental skills has remained a constant throughout his career. He has traveled as far as Nepal and Peru to participate in dental and medical mission trips. He combines his passion for hiking at high altitudes with providing dental care to the people of Peru. He serves on the board of Mountain Medics International (MMI) which provides dental and medical care to the people of Peru who have limited to no access to care.

Dr. Neumann joined Dr. Mackey’s dental practice in December 2019. Originally, from Akron, Ohio, he completed his undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University receiving a B.S. in Business Administration with a Life Sciences minor. Dr. Neumann decided later in his collegiate career that he was best suited to work with people, science, and to help those in need. After this decision, he began his career in dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University.

Upon graduation, Dr. Neumann chose to further his dental skills and completed a hospital-based general practice residency at Summa Hospital Systems in his hometown of Akron. During his time at the hospital, Dr. Neumann was able to work with dental specialists and was lucky to have had hands on experience working side by side with cardiologists, plastic surgeons, and more. Continuing education remains a vital part of Dr. Neumann’s life as he loves to keep current in the ever-changing dental field.
